I've got a chance to bid on a 800 series Ford tractor that our school is selling. The last time they had it running was a couple years back. It has 8900 hrs on it, but the tires look to be in good shape and it's not stuck. However the battery is dead, so I couldn't get it running to really check it over. It's been sitting outside for the last several years and the paint is pretty faded, but the metal work isn't beat up or rusted. I didn't get a chance to get any pics, but I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what these are worth in the condition I've just described.
They have a reserve of $1000 and so far there has only been myself and one other person that have even expressed any interest in it. They are taking bids till wed of this week.
Thanks, Mark. I digress.power steering was a option. Model and serial numbers for the '01' series tractors are located in the same place as the hundred series tractors.
